Does that include any "personal services", luxury massage, use of pool and spa facilities? £175 per hour, they must at least calculate your tax return, walk your dog and return the car fully detailed...no?

ha ha ! I shall ask them to ensure they do all the above. Maybe I misheard the rate. I'm just bracing myself as I'm used to my local guy bodging up my old seat Ibiza!!!

Just ask Prestige & Performance car services in Northfleet to have a look. Will charge you a **** sight less than Stealer prices.

thanks I will try them as they are quite near. What hourly rate should we be looking at from quality garages like prestige? Just so I know when coming back to kent high performance to ask for manicure and massage!

Anywhere from £40+ really. I'd expect no more than £80 from a specialist but these guys will more than likely be less. I met Mark who runs this at the HR Owen Garden Party and took a flyer as he seemed like a good guy. He has a collection of 4 nice Maser's.

Mark is a top guy and properly knows his Maseratis.

thanks for that - got a quote from kent high performance (Ferrari centre) in Maidstone and they are actually only £75 per hour so I was unjustly maligning them! they've quoted £150 for a 2 hour once over to check it out which I guess is ok ?

Welcome Russ.

Airbag light has a high probability of being the passenger de-activation switch in the glove box. Common Alfa part and beans to fix.

Is this easy to change C?
Mine has been on for a while and they cant clear it.
May be worth buying a replacement and hope the light goes out if it is easy to to swap ?

If you are working on anything to do with the airbags; probably worth isolating the battery for a few minutes beforehand...

Dead simple as understand. It's a clip in part with two push terminals. Worth turning the battery off though :)

Ok - update after service / inspection - All is well!! Ferrari centre in Maidstone did full diagnostics and thorough checks and it's all good. They even hammered out the car park dings in the doors! Dead clever. It turned out the airbag is aok so just needed resetting. Only thing now is the bleeding central locking has stopped working. From other posts it's probably the solenoid on either driver or passenger side... Boot opens with remote key and it unlocks remotely but just will not lock! Could they have maybe dislodged something when the door cassettes were off? Seems a crazy co incidence!!

So it was probably a loose connection on the airbag. Pounds to pence it'll happen again.
