Just bought one of these:

I saw one at my detailers and its truly brilliant.

Compact, quick and easy. You have to work sat on a stool, but for the keen home diy'er, its perfect.

First up, swap the gearboxes over on the Opel.

Can you wheel it onto your drive or is it bolted down to the garage floor?

It basically works the same as this, you jack it on the jacking points, not on the wheels and it stores flat. It comes with a separate unit that pumps the hydraulics:

You just push it around to where you want it, its not fixed at all.

Its the same lift as this but with a better control pump unit, you note there is nothing in middle so you can work without hinderence:

Delivery is Â£200 as you need a fork lift to take it off, your picking yours up so hence the difference.

Are you getting the mobile kit with it or not for that price (extra Â£150)

Oh and Paul remember you need 10L of hydraulic oil do it does not come with it.

Will do my friend, I have to do a gearbox and clutch on the Opel first.

WHat i read is that it lifts up to one metre.

Yes 1m plus the height of the unit plus jacking blocks, so your talking about 1.2m. Basically you have to work sat down on a roller stool. There is a full lift version but I don't have the garage height to make use of it.
