The spotted in Japan thread

I spend an inordinate amount of time trawling Japanese websites. And once my internet service provider and conscience have stepped in (ahem), I spend an awful amount of time on Japanese car sites.
There’s always some interesting stuff on there, from obscure Alpinas and AMGs, to absolutely mint Italian stuff with mileage you simply don’t see.
So I thought I’d start a thread with some of the more interesting Masers/Italian stuff. Chip in with your own finds...

Beautiful burgundy GranSport Spyder

Yellow is a controversial colour on here. So how about orange?

Gorgeous Ghibli (GT I think)

Shamal

A pair of 222SR

I'd managed to forget about Goonet as I kept finding cars I wanted.

Now it's back!

I'd have all of them!

Not that I dedicate a bit too much of my life to this but... xe.com and I’d have a chat to someone like TorqueGT (other importers are available). Seem to remember 2 week’s prep in Japan and the four to six weeks in transit.
Eg, that burgundy GS is just under £40k. The Coupe is just under £30k.

H3ll's teeth. The Spyder looks like Bordeaux Pontevecchio and the Coupe is Rame; they would make a stunning pair, but the others would be superb consolation prizes.

Nuts though that they import Left hand drive cars, even though they drive on the side of righteousness - just to make them even more exclusive!

Yeah, unless you were after a certain spec the post-2000 stuff might not make sense.
Where it does is for stuff prior to that. This'll sound like the ultimate humblebrag but doing Ads on Test I've seen a fair few Japanese European cars and they beggar belief in terms of spec and condition.
There's also the chance of finding some true unicorns too. Not a Maserati but how about a BMW 745i Turbo?

Had a look this morning and there's some truly rare groove stuff - AMG SL73, E60, 500E etc. More on my level are 25k-miles 145 Cloverleafs for £2k. You're looking at 4x the mileage for that in the U.K.

Stunning....! 

I’d have no problem buying a lhd car in the UK. Our roads are so ****, and the European mountains so easily within reach, I sometimes think it would be preferable.... ✌️

One of my friends, a former Biturbo owner (he got me into the trident) current 308 and Integrale owner, subscribes to this theory and only ever buys LHD for fun times on the continent.
