A friend of mine came across this pair whilst browsing eBay...

QP seems a decent spec, will be interesting to see what it goes for since it's an auction. Not sure about the 4200 in yellow though.

Even more interestingly, the seller lives in a water tower. Is it wrong to want to view cars because of where the seller lives? Good job I'm at the other end of the country :D

/normal disclaimer, I know nothing about the cars etc. just posting as it seemed interesting.

I was so sure I wanted a facelift or GS but there have been 2 classicos turned up lately that warrant serious consideration and this is one of them.

Registered my interest with the seller, probably should just press buy it now for the colour alone. It is gorgeous in my eyes.

Both look nice Slough 20,000 miles done between the last service on the QP but guessing long journeys.
Aside the QP looks like Cobratwins old one that he travelled all over Europe in doing Fake Taxi ;)

You can't beat yellow for a coupe. It's also well known to be the fastest colour ...

And here we see it for sale last time:

http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/showthread.php/16860-Another-Yellow-Maserati-4200-£12500

The current seller seems a nice chap. No clutch replaced in his ownership. It surely cannot be on its original clutch still. Waiting to hear back from Vic at Migliore if clutch wear was recorded at the service last year which was overdue on age if not mileage. I know that yellow can fade badly on other cars, is it known to be problem on Masers? I do not have, and not likely to have either a garage or off-road parking and would not want to see it decline because of this.

See above pic for bright yellow gorgeousness. My GS lived outside for the first few years of ownership and hasn't suffered as a result due to me being fastidious about keeping it clean. The plastics have oxidised a bit, but they would do so with any colour. I'll try a machine polish at some point, but am going to repaint the car eventually. In yellow, before any sarcastic/derogatory comments are made!
