Is that a Bamford Rose one Stewart ? That will and some more aural drama to the DB9.

Yep.
Was going for a David Appleby pipe but this was a bit cheaper and was worried it may show in the finish but I needn't have worried.

That’s the kiddie! Beautifully made, aren’t they? Combined with the cccharger remote, you now have the sweetest twelve-piece orchestra and can play the GT12 overture with the volume on very loud or somewhat less loud. Enjoy!

Went up the coast to Walberswick today. First reasonable length run with Mrs Crud, who seems happy enough with the Vantage as a comfortable mile-muncher. She certainly rated it as more comfortable than the GTS, and I agree with her. The exhaust is definitely quieter at lower revs, 'unfortunately'. You really need to give it the beans before it comes on song, and by that time you're going blisteringly fast. As far as I can tell, it only really starts to get raucous at 3-4k, but the car is very well sound-proofed, so maybe things kick off sooner than that and I just haven't realised from inside.

Washed it for the first time today. What a joy! I’m especially impressed with the paint finish on the roof. Also, because it’s very small it didn’t take long.

Machine polished and PPF coated. It looked good before that, but I must admit, I’m pretty blown away now!

Sounds amazing....but without pictures you are frustrating us....ok me .....

Post 109, Andy - that’s the roof. It’s only the roof that’s been polished so far. The rest of it’s getting done this week. Here are some pre-detailing other pictures as well.

Love the interior of this era Vantage. Hate the interior of the new one and DB11 - they look so generic and too much Mercedes tech parts bin

Yeah, thanks. Whilst I like the DB11 and new Vantage interiors, I much prefer the more traditional dials and buttons design. For some reason of quirkiness, I especially like the 'backwards' rev counter and, even more so, the fly-off handbrake.

Never thought about the rev counter until you mentioned it. lol
Agree about the handbrake. Reminds me of a Mk2 Escort rally car I drove a long time ago.
