Just saw an advert on TV for Lloyds Auctions based in Australia advertised by F1 Alan Jones.
Apparently you can bid on line for a car and they will ship it for free from Australia to presumably UK if you win. the tag line is Oz prices for the UK or something like that.
I have not checked the site out yet but I will. Don't know about tax , import duties poll tax etc
It is probably rubbish though.....................
