Well just taken mine into Autoshield to have the underneath waxoyled for long term protection. The first one they've seen, and Marios was both surprised and very impressed with the changes they've made to the underneath of the car. Some of the new reinforcing would explain the almost complete absence of any scuttleshake in this version of the GC. So quite a lot more development to this refresh than just bumpers and infotainment. Some photos:

Maserati should shout more about this sort of stuff and most just saw it as mild makeover .... Clearly there was more than meets the eye and all the better for it.

It looks a gorgeous car, really like the colour combination and styling in it. Perfect for spring and summer.
But why can’t maserati increase the HP with each iteration like Ferrari does, to make it discernably more fun and faster and worthy the extra hard earned money. I am not sure many consumers will be that interested in the underside of the car.
The second facelift in 10 years and how much more power does it have- 10?
Other cars have gone up by well over 100 in that time (20%) .

Personally, I think it has enough power and is quick enough for a convertible GT car. How much more power/speed do you really need on the road? And as somebody said on another thread today, what's more important than reducing weight, and I would add increasing power or straightline speed, is knowing how to drive.

Agreed. I was just thinking of exciting people to join the brand. Most others seem to be doing it successfully. I am just frustrated with Maserati as are many others. Such a beautiful car and heritage, amazing sound. I would just like there to be the option of a variation with competitive speed.

Is it expensive to get it sealed underneath like that???
Striking car without a doubt

Fantastic looking car, sat in a new one at Graypaul Birmingham, hope you enjoy every driven moment.

BTW my earlier sport cab underside bracing looks exactly the same.

Must admit if I had from new I would consider waxoyl or Dinitrol, trouble now any corrosion would be trapped without a good stream clean , understand that Dinitrol would need washing off to work on any areas.

Out of interest with regards the new headlamps, marketing states they have changed subtlety, is it just the logo colour?

I was in Maranello Egham yesterday and they currently have a gorgeous Grancab in there...

Have Maserati ever done a hard top for their convertible?
