My New GranTurismo MC

I know this may present a divide in opinion but I decided I wanted to "upgrade" my previous GTS which I admittedly loved but wanted something with better infotainment and new.
I'd done a fair few miles in my last one and was getting worried about trade in values.
Well after some seriously annoying delays blamed on my choice of specialist paint and other general Italian laziness I finally took delivery after having it detailed and wrapped (PPF) at Topaz first.
Let me know what you think...
I'm in love all over again!

Gorgeous looking car! Nice choice.
The only worry for me On these is their depreciation from New- but for pounds per smile it’s
Got to be up there!

Admittedly it wasn't cheap, but with a new house this year and a lovely tax bill I just couldn't stretch into Ferrari territory (which is where I'd love to end up).
The new Portofino looks lovely but I still couldn't reach the spec I wanted on my current budget.
This car is beautiful, and it sounds like heaven on Earth!

Agree Nic re : sounds.
Did it have to have 4 seats? Did you consider the Cali T? I am gobsmacked at the deals out there for those.
The portofino is a bit of a stretch. They offered to get me into one late this year but I had to buy an overpriced 458 first.
You have to hand it to them- expecting you to give them close to 200k cash and be grateful for the opportunity!
Nothing sounds like the MC though in race mode, and with 4 seats and those 3 scoops on the bonnet- it will draw more positive attention than a prancing donkey as Phil eloquently puts it.

Yeah for now I need 4 seats. Though becoming less of an issue with ageing children!
I think the portofino has the edge over the Cali T in terms of styling though that is obviously a very personal thing.
Expensive all the same. I could likely get a second hand 458 for equal or less.

Stunning. I had a play in a new one when I was collecting mine recently. Infotainment system is light years different to the old one. Love the colour.

Thank you. It's a three layer paint job called Blu Assoluto.
Depending on the light and how you look at it the colour varies from dark to light blue. It really has to be seen to appreciate it.
I'm so pleased with the choice but it took them nearly 7 months from order to delivery.
I was not best pleased lol!
The new infotainment brings the car into the modern era. About time I say :)

Do you have any interior pics. Would love to see it in person- shame you are not closer.
Is the infotainment system the same as in the 2014- Ghibli or different?

Good looking car.

Interesting paint, looks like Sebring blue and then Netto blue...would be nice to see in the sun.

That is a beautiful GT.....Stunning colour.....Yes it's a lot if money for what is old tec but that noise those looks.....it looks a million dollars and maybe you have the last Maserati to feature that stunning engine. I like the make over as well t brings it more up to date. Well done and enjoy.

Beautiful car in a lovely color combination. The infotainment is pretty much the same as the latest versions of the Ghibli but without the heating controls, which remain in the central panel and on the seat base. I picked this Grancabrio up in November and with the new infotainment, there is nothing else I would change about this car in terms of “new techâ€. Who would want a turbocharged unit over this glorious engine........?

I dont normally like yellow calipers but they work well with the body colour
