Sorry folks since the demise of photobucket I’ve got the imagur app and put a couple pics on there but trying to figure out which link I copy to post in forums so attempt number 1 ...

So I only see the following icons in an image

Safari / download image / copy link.

The above was copy link. How do I get images into forum posts ??

Yeah that’s mine but I want to post the actual pic in the forum post, all I see is the link which you have to click on to open a web page to view the image, which I assume is the same for you ?

With photobucket when you put the link in and saved from then on you al aye saw the pic as did everyone else

The tab is very poor. You can see the words 'From Computer'

That's actually a tab....

Unless you're trying to post a preview, or embed a picture hosted elsewhere? In which case, not a chance

Hold on I’m lost, I thought imagur was the go to photobucket replacement ?

How are people posting pics in forums now then?

if you manually use the BB code it works ok

if you have a Microsoft account onedrive works well and will create urls for different image sizes which is quite useful

What a faff on lol. Why on earth don’t imagur have a link to copy that does that anyway?

Definitely worked for me Catman, wonder if it’s a flickr thing, but I confess to knowing diddly squat about this stuff.

Catman, there is a 'Share' icon on Flickr, choose the BB Code link and it will generate one to paste in...

The cars look great by the way, although I must say, I have a soft spot for white!

the BBCode option from the share arrow will produce a code like below...

just paste it into the message body, no tags needed...
you can trim it down to just the text between the [ img] tags
