Evening all,
Doing a road trip to Northern Island in June this year and would appreciate any pointers on where to stay, routes around the coast. We'll be landing at Larne port.
Thanks in advance

Last time I went, albeit a few years ago now, we were on bikes, but there were a couple of roads/places that stood out. Ballintoy harbour was quite pretty and had a nice cake/coffee shop and the A32 from Omagh through to Enniskillen followed by the A46 up to Belleek is work a trip. Take a brolly if you're getting out of the car anywhere :)

You cant go wrong with the Antrim coast (north of Larne). Its all beautiful and great roads. Ballintoy harbour, Carrick a Rede rope bridge, Bushmills distillery and The Giants Causeway. There's a great restaurant in Portrush called the Ramore. Derry/Londonderry is worth a visit especially for a walk around the city walls. The Fermanagh Lakelands are beautiful. The County Down coast isnt as spectacular as the Antrim coast but its still worth a spin. Go from Newry to Hilltown then follow the signs to Kilkeel for one of our best mountain roads. You can follow the coast road back towards Newcastle where theres an amazing restaurant called Brunells. If you stick to the coast road theres a ferry across Strangford Lough en route north to Belfast. So there's a few suggestions to get you started.

Hit the coast road as soon as you get to Larne. 1) Larne is the most woeful place in NI (You'll see what I mean when you arrive), 2) The coast road is a small piece of driving heaven
