I know, I know, we are all still basking in sunshine and its way too early to book up for Xmas but if we dont do it by the end of July we wont get the venues.

After what must be 5 or 6 times at Marlow (and one at Reading and another at Milton Keynes) the general consensus is its time for a change.

The format will remain the same, Early Ace Cafe meet up, Karting, Pub, Hotel, Meal, Lash up.

MLC has suggested something up the top end of England and am open ears to venues in the Midlands so as to attract other members.

Please list your suggestions below and we will assess them...

Been to several Summer time weddings at Quorn Country House. Good food, rooms very comfortable, stylish building with nice grounds (maybe not important in Winter), plenty of parking and easy access. Just outside Loughborough - J23 M1. Plus Shiltech on hand just in case :)

No idea on capacity for Xmas functions, etc.

So we are heading up north, where the accents begin.....

I hope most of you northerners attend because if you dont then next year itll be somewhere "normal" like within the M25 :lol2:

I've made contact with the Bredbury Hall Hotel today. It's a country hotel to the south of Stockport. I've stayed in it quite a few times and the rooms are quite large, bigger than most anyway. They have a large car park that can fit us all in, a conference dining room, and a night club next door (with free entry). Karting in the morning would be quite close by too. So we can meet at the karting, have a thrash, then a nice gentle drive around the Peak District, pub lunch then descend to the Bredbury hall hotel, for the meal and disco....I can see SPKenny p!ssing himself at my suggestion.

I used to go out with a girl from Stockport. Bredbury Hall is legendary (I believe) in that part of the world.
I went there once. What a laugh that was!!!!

Bredbury Hall, legendary? Not the word I would have used. Next you will be saying the Valley Lodge was legendary too
