Sprinter Travel can lay on a coach to the Ville D'Este for £300 for the night. It can fit 53 people so have booked this meaning we can, within reason, book any hotel in the immediate area.

I am currently looking at Crowne Plaza in Gerrards Cross, but once again, I have left a message and nobody comes back to you.

Crowne Plaza in Gerrards Cross have come back and quoted £135 per deluxe double room inc of breakfast.

A coach can be laid on to take us to Marlow for £300 all in so thats only £1 ahead dearer than the shuttle mini bus we have last year.

Anyone got any thoughts or shall I just get on and book it?

It's a long way and a mission between the meal and the hotel isn't it? £300? How far is the hotel ? 100 miles?

20 mins on one coach. The minibus shuttle was 3x 20 mins and a ball ache!

All on the coach together, Ill supply the 'tinies' does that shut you up? :)

*note, alternative shandy or cocktail will be offered for any MX5 and Evoque drivers.

Was about to say that sounds good so ye another hotel but the coach is a good idea, have some atmosphere all of us being together and stops the faffing about.....£1 more is worth it

Have you considered the Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross if you are thinking of that area? And headline rate is £25 less than Crowne Plaza. I've not been there since about 1972, so can't really provide a review.

Due to the hotel situations bumping up the prices we have moved the meal and hotel to Brentwood Dock.

Ace/Karting/pub will remain the same but the hotel opposite Stevo's restaurant will be used (Holiday Inn with underground secure parking).

No taxis required either.

What Stevo is proposing is a quality buffet at circa £15 a head, welcome drink and wine included, then a reduced rate at the bar. He will also be laying on DJ too.

So, am thinking £50 a head, you get the welcome drink/buffet/wine which will be about £25 per head then the rest goes behind the bar and when that runs out, a reduced rate will kick in.

Its not a massive place but Stevo will look after us and I quite fancy the change.

Hotel is being negotiated at with a target price of £125 per double with parking and breakfast.

Monies will need to all be collected by the end of this month and I will contact you all when this is due.
