It has 98,000 in km, so that's only around 61,000 in miles.

I think parts are getting harder and harder to get. At least when I was looking for all the suspension bits recently there were some that was hard to track down. Engine parts are also getting rare (big end bearings not available), and clutch situation is bad too.

Clutch should be fine, I have all the sachs part numbers and they were all available on the internet for not much money last time I looked - they are shared with some other cars.

I have a really hard time with the release bearing, is it shared with something else? It's unavailable everywhere I've asked, and I've asked many places.

These are the numbers I know about
Device: Maserati 394650102, Sachs 3082 308 431
Disk: Maserati 364602105, Sachs 1862 481 331
Release bearing: Maserati 384601108, Sachs 3151 236 301

this supplier says they have the release bearing in stock:

I've just found this thread while searching for the Sachs 3151 236 301 release bearing... it's not looking good. So far I've enquired with several online parts suppliers who have the part listed on their websites as 'orderable' however none actually have any left to sell! What's the point of that then?

I'll report back here if I find any for reasonable money.

I had an email last week that "Autoricambi d'Epoca Srl" had complete 3200 kits - they are not usually cheap, but then options might be limited...

There only seems to be full kits left, whereas I only need the release bearing (I've sourced the pressure plate from elsewhere, and my car uses a slightly different friction disk to the 3200 despite sharing the other parts). I suppose one option is to buy a three-piece kit for a 3200 and sell on the parts I don't need, though that's a bit of a faff. Mind you, it's better than paying over £800 for the bearing alone - there's even one on eBay for over £1000. The issue really is that I'm trying to avoid paying what I would consider an excessive amount for a release bearing, but I may have no choice.

It surprises me that Sachs have discontinued this release bearing. Obviously there aren't that many Maseratis driving around, relative to the numbers of cars on the road, but given that my 222 4V, the Ghibli 2, V6 QP4, Shamal, 3200 (and probably others) can all use this bearing it seems rather strange for it to be discontinued.

Hmmm that is rather reasonable. The release bearing looks extremely similar to the Sachs bearing but I'm viewing this on my phone so maybe I'm mistaken.

Did you try old timer? I reckon they have some options.

I don't I'm afraid. My 235mm clutch kit arrived this morning, aside from a small ae (?) logo on the pressure plate and 'Borg and Beck' (a familiar company) engraved in the release bearing, the kit contains no other discernible logos or part numbers for reference. There's nothing at all on the friction disk.

As an aside, if the website in your link actually has stock for that price I'll be kicking myself, I just paid a fair bit more than that for my kit!
