What is my Granturismo worth?

I am thinking of selling my GT Sport and I wanted to get an idea of what I should put it up for in a private sale and how much I could get for it in part exchange. Although I love the car, I am hardly driving it due to a lot of travelling and general lack of time.

Its white with black alloys and black leather interior with contrast white stitching. Its pictured below. Details are:

1. First registered May 2013. I am the first and only owner
2. Current Mileage - just under 9000
3. Option fitted - Carbon Pack 1 and Carbon Pack 2, Bose HiFi, Rear spoiler in carbon, Comfort pack and bits like Trident stitching on seats etc
4. 4 year service is due at the end of May
5. Condition is good with no issues apart from one slightly scuffed alloy

I have to double check on what came with the carbon packs but its has the following which I can recall: Rear spoiler, door mirrors, door handles, rear diffuser, front diffuser, side skirts, exhaust pipes + full interior including steering wheel, door panels and dash.

All advice appreciated.

Thank you

ill take a stab @ 58k +/- 1.5k. 13 plate stradales with 10-15k mileage going for 66k and similar non carbon pack gts's with 10-15k mileage going for 55-58k.

Have you thought about asking Richard Grace or Nuvola to sell it on your behalf? It's a lot of car for someone to buy privately and many would prefer the peace of mind of an healthcheck and warranty from a known specialist. I would suggest having the 4 year service done too so that any buyer would be able to see it has been thoroughly checked over and ready to go.
It does look very nice and had a good spec, good luck with the sale

I agree with Stuart, RG has the contacts and a car of that caliber probably needs a specialist to find the right buyer

Ok thanks all. That not too bad in terms of depreciation. I had a Ferrari dealer telling me today to keep it as he thinks they will appreciate going forward??

Richard - will reach out to you if I decide to sell. Thanks

Really? That's good news. There are so many on the market that any appreciation feels a way off yet. The trouble with these is that they're so good you want to use them, not wrap them up in cotton wool and hope the value goes up. Look at Fezza prices - they drop like a stone after about 10/20k miles.

It is indeed. The guys at Simon Furlonger said the other day that good GTS's are few and far between, so they suggest prices are 'firming up' whether that means they aren't falling as quickly or are indeed appreciating I don't know.

Firming up sounds like we should expect to be at or near the bottom of the depreciation curve. Well, mine should be. Newer ones may have a way to go yet, I suppose.

I guess it all depends on how long they stay at the bottom of that curve if they are.

I can recommend both of them thoroughly and I think it would be worth your peace of mind. You will pay commission but it will be realistic and massively increase your chances of selling in a timely fashion. I have just sold mine within days of the photos going up at the asking price. They will both give you a solid but honest appraisal of value. good luck - lovely car - PS there is no way the prices of any GT will go up. Too many around.

I dont understand the pre-occupation with mileage on Maseratis or Ferraris. Especially at the lower end. I want to bloody drive them!

Agreed, except for the 2 seater Stradale. 4 seaters are now at a similar price and there are 3 times as many of them. I understand there is a maximum of 120 2 seaters sold in the UK only. With exports, accidents and collectors, that's probably only 60-80 "available". That's a tiny number and only going to get smaller. Of course, I'm biased but genuinely suspect it to be correct. It will be several years before we see it but the potential is there.

Sounds like I should offload it then. Probably too much for me to just hold onto anyway.

Im going to get a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS Convertible or Targa. Then will likely slot into the new Granturismo which should be out in 3 years time.

The Targa's a lovely car. Seriously cool roof. Blue with biscuit interior (or whatever Porsche calls brown).

I heard that Targa resale value are stronger than other 911's. Told that it will likely retain 70% plus of its value including reasonable options after 3 years and 24000 miles.

I am still debating between that and the convertible. Definitely the GTS either way. I was thinking Carmine Red with black alloys and black interior as per the pic below. Too in your face?

GTS in any form is a stunning car. Carmine red is one of the best colours on it as well. Targa is the best looking one and just doesn't seem to lose much money. Great drivers cars.

Looks great but that's still £30-35k down after three years before cost of capital at whatever your personal rate is.

If you want a new car then much better to offload the Maser. Just remember that some dealer margins are high so allow for that when considering what peeps tell you it is worth.
