Sounds good. Cam belt just done and a 2001 car so should be OBDII compliant which makes it a lot easier.

Now that looks very cheap for the miles....most would be 20k plus with those miles on.

I'd agree, very much a bargain, but is there something lurking beneath? Definitely worth the inspection by an independent.

For those who are looking for a manual, PK Supercars are still listing a blue 3200 with 75k for £10250. It's been on for about 18 months and I've not seen it but worth a thought.

Ironically just had this through on email.

Hi- am writing to see if you would like to put your 3200 into our April auction at Sandown park. We had a good result with a quattroporte recently and think would sell well. Best regards, Paul Barons Auctions

It is the same car. Good spot on the speedo, that is certainly a little suspicious. You can see also that the left side door lining and the top of the dash are both coming unstuck...
It has disappeared. Dash top shrinkage is very common, easily sorted though.

According to the GOVN website, its first MOT attempt was in Feb 2014 (and it failed), so presumably that was when it was imported to the UK. It finally passed an MOT in May of 2016, so was presumably in storage between these dates. Looks nice though. Someone local should check it out and see where it's come from. Japan, SA, Aus, Cyrpus,...?

Yes, and it took over 2 years to sort out the failure points:

Reason(s) for failure
Nearside Front Steering system has excessive free play detected at the steering wheel (steering rack fitted) (2.2.A.1b)
Offside Front Steering system has excessive free play detected at the steering wheel (steering rack fitted) (2.2.A.1b)
Nearside Outer Rear Lower Suspension arm ball joint dust cover excessively damaged so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (2.4.G.2)
Offside Outer Rear Lower Suspension arm ball joint dust cover excessively damaged so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (2.4.G.2)
Nearside Outer Rear Upper Suspension arm ball joint dust cover excessively damaged so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (2.4.G.2)
Offside Outer Rear Upper Suspension arm ball joint dust cover excessively damaged so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (2.4.G.2)
Nearside Rear Tyre has ply or cords exposed (4.1.D.1b)
Advisory notice item(s)
Offside Front Anti-roll bar has slight play in a ball joint (2.4.G.2)
Nearside Front Anti-roll bar has slight play in a ball joint (2.4.G.2)
Nearside front joints to oil cooler showing signs of seepage

You also have the issue the first MOT has recorded the odometer reading in Kms, then over two years later with an extra '10' but is recoreded in miles.
Now the photo's on ebay show kms, with only 100 kms more, so since it has been imported, it has only done approximately 60 miles in 3 years.
I think you would have to be brave, or buy with a warranty to get some miles covered to ensure everything is okay.

If it's from Singapore it will be no good.
People get caught all the time here in NZ all the headache cars we had were from there.

Put him in touch with Richard Grace. He has an exceptional late low miles manual car, upgraded to AC spec, for the price of a standard private sale car.
