All you need on that QP was the variaitors and the oil filled engine mounts and you would be in for a 14k car with 80k...and that's before you sort out the damaged trim pieces.

Far easier to sell a 4200 in the autumn than the winter....

Agree with that. Better to spend a smidge more and get a sorted one. Mine just had variators done and was just under 17k.

This one looks like it may have been a contender , looks OK on eBay but on the website the front wing looks a different colour completely

If I sell the 4200 I could comfortably spend 15k at the moment so it's probably going to be a DS but I'm not going to let the money burn a hole in my pocket , I want the right car whether it's 10 or 15k this week or next year

The MX5 is coming out of the garage today so at least I've got a toy to play with

I reckon you could get a ZF auto for that 15k soon. Depends if you want a DS or ZF really.
