If anyone is intrested I have an 05 PASSAT I am going to get rid off, 180k miles, In permanent limp home mode, exhaust falling off.

Was going to scrap it but now think I will put it up for £1100.00

Agreed mate. Reverse Psychology. I knew a colleague who got so busy he wanted less work - so he doubled his prices...and more people wanted to come to him. Its human nature. Unfortunately the guy with the 4200 wanting 45k pushed it too far! :D
