Auction estimate rarely equals what the car sells for?

I don't really get it myself. Looks a bit like a 3 series with an ugly grille, and a tree inside
If it was half the price and reliable, it'd be a very cool daily, but I suspect using one as a daily would be insanity.
My 944 looks 100x better to my eyes...
