*** CAR NOW SOLD, THANK YOU ***
*** PRICE REDUCED FOR FORUM MEMBERS TO £35,000 ***
It's time to reluctantly sell my very pampered Granturismo S MC-Shift. It was registered 03/10/2008 and is 2008 / 58 reg. I purchased the car from Nuvola on 19/06/2015 and it had been supplied by them to the previous owner too.
The current mileage is 54,300 and the full specification is as follows:
Nero Carbonio Metallic
Nero leather/alcantara inserts with rosso stitching
20" Grigio Mercury Neptune alloy wheels
Skyhook
Bose surround sound
Comfort front seat pack
Front parking sensors
Aluminium sports pedals
Nero alcantara headlining
Nero carpets and mats
Auto dimming mirrors
Piano black interior accents
Piano black window surrounds, in place of the standard chrome finish
The tracker is not currently activated but the car comes with both fobs and it has two keys
MOT History:
19/10/2011 at 26073 miles
03/10/2012 at 31974 miles
21/10/2013 at 40190 miles
28/11/2014 at 47195 miles
18/06/2015 at 50182 miles
18/05/2016 at 53578 miles
The current MOT expires on 17/06/2017 and the only advisory was a noisy exhaust referring to the Larini system which has now been removed and the car has been returned to it's stock exhaust
Service History:
19/05/2010 at 12461 miles Lancaster Colchester
10/09/2011 at 24868 miles HR Owen London
02/04/2013 at 35069 miles Lancaster Colchester
23/12/2014 at 47198 miles Giallo Hildenborough
20/10/2016 at 54252 miles Marshall Peterborough
I had the recent service done this week, slightly earlier than it was due, so that I could offer the car for sale freshly serviced with a clean bill of health. The car will now not require another service for 2 years or 12,500 miles, which ever comes first
In addition to the servicing, other significant maintenance carried out on the car includes the following:
clutch replacement on 22/05/2015 at 44000 miles by Giallo - the clutch is now showing 39.1% worn as read by Marshall on 20/10/2016
front brake discs and pads on 28/11/2014 at 47198 miles by Giallo
modified variator replacement on 11/12/2014 at 47500 miles by Giallo
complete front suspension bush replacement kit on 18/06/2015 at 50116 miles by Giallo
radiator replaced on 21/08/2015 at 50646 miles by Marshall
air conditioning compressor replaced on 22/10/2015 at 51272 miles by Marshall
new Bosch S5 battery on 23/01/2016
replaced rear brake discs, pads & EPB shoes plus o/s/f wheel bearing & ABS sensor on 09/02/2016 at 52184 miles by Marshall
replaced front tyres (Continental SC6) on 20/04/2016 at 52800 miles
replaced both rear springs and shock absorbers plus rear tyres (Continental SC5) on 14/09/2016 at 54148 miles by Marshall
sat nav maps upgraded to 2014 maps
So as you can see, mechanically the car wants for absolutely nothing. All of the costly service items on a Granturismo have been taken care of and have many, many years and miles left in them such as all of the brakes, clutch, air con compressor, radiator, all 4 tyres and very importantly the variators have been attended to. Plus it won't need to be serviced for another 2 years or 12,500 miles. The car is well known to Marshall Maserati Peterborough so feel free to speak with the service manager there if you wish to independently verify anything about it,
I have the new car order sheet, the previous MOT certificates and all of the service invoices relating to the above work.
The body work is in very good order - it is always garaged and is polished regularly however the bonnet has a stone chip which has not gone down to the bare metal and has not dented it but I would suggest that the bonnet is re-painted. Nuvola have their own bodyshop and will charge £350 + VAT for this
This is a reluctant sale as the car has been a joy to own and the design to my eyes is pretty much flawless but I fancy an upgrade and would very much like the car to go to a forum member. And with this in mind plus the fact that I need a fast sale, I feel that it is priced very well at £37,000 or very near offer *** NOW £35,000 ***
Please get in touch if you need any further information, thank you
