Same as the later 3200GT's... a bit more negative, a touch more castor and some toe in on the front .. knocks off some of the tramling effect and turns in miles better too..

Melbourne guys, I think what George is looking for is someone you can heartily recommend. I have such a guy in Queanbeyan who will be rebuilding my suspension ( new rubbers all round and fit my lowering springs ) once other projects on the car are done. This guy sets up track cars, is a Porsche specialist and has the touch. My mechanic in Sydney after driving mine asked who set up the suspension because it was so good. He has driven tons of GS so that was a real compliment. That's the type of guy George wants. If not a visit to Canberra may be in order.

Hi George

You might want to consider http://www.tractiontyres.com.au , I had an alignment done, drove it for a couple days and wasn't really happy with it, the car felt like it was wandering, went back and asked them to align it to GS spec which iirc is 4.0mm toe in (there are a few different setting for these cars), car felt much better and they did not charge me for it, I like their service, they're careful with the car, and don't thrash it on the test drive.

I've also heard that http://www.trutrack.com.au is quite good.

Normally get mine done at Zags George when getting serviced.
Had a few issues with these guys so won't be going back there in a hurry

That's exactly what I am after :)

Thanks Vince, I'll give them a call.

Last time I took mine to Edgars Tyrepower in Blackburn Rd. Seemed to do a good job and new what they were doing. I think it was Rob Fairley that recommended them. Wasn't more than a standard wheel alignment either.
