Ok, provisional hotels:
Night 1, Cherbourg Marina, its got a really great night life and I know a great place for dinner/lunch in Le Brick just up the road with a lovely cove beach opposite, but its a clean, lively town with loads of bars and restaurants.
Night 2, Le Mecure, Mont Saint Michael. The Mecure hotels we stay in regularly, they are a chain but offer great accommodation plus we can take a walk over the sea for a knees up here, what do we all think?
No Masers on the island though and we will have to be back before the tide come back in

I can drink my own bodyweight in vodka. Its just drinking other peoples bodyweight that may cause an issue !
