It's been really nice to see the girl brought back up to standard. Anyone that wants more detail on the experience of this particular car, I'll be happy to share my overwhelmingly positive experience.

If I had the cash, I'd probably by it back.....

Thanks, still not sure I'm doing the right thing adding 10k to it to buy a QP now it looks this good

Unless you really need the Big Barge don't do it.
The QP is a Great car but a sorted 4200 is far more exciting and I have driven lots of the Maserati family.

That's the problem, I do need it , plus big V8 saloons have always done it for me and the QP is the ultimate V8 saloon IMO, I've wanted one since I first saw it in 2004 , in an ideal world i'd buy a petrol station and keep both

Having thought long and hard about the 4200 I've decided I want a QP , my wife doesn't need an Evoque, she only ever drives in a 5 mile loop so the yeti is fine

So for the final and definite time it is for sale but in order to generate some interest I'm dropping the asking to £10,995

It's only going to be that price on here until the weekend , its got 13 months MOT on now so I'll be advertising it elsewhere for the original £11995 which I think is still a good price

Back up for sale at £10,995 ono

Now has MOT until august 2017

good spec
Xenons
Cruise control
electric heated seats
electric folding mirrors
Nav ( CD stuck in player) working in that it gives you a gps fix
Parrot fitted, no audio through the stereo , regognises a source, connects to a phone or ipod and plays but no sound comes out of the speakers, it's been like that since the respray so I assume something got disconnected, the aerial wasn't put back on after the paint job but it's in the boot if the new owner wants to drill a big hole in the rear wing

I tend to listen to the exhaust more in any case which sounds fantastic with the X pipe and no silencers in the rear boxes :D

No CEL lights at all in the 6 months I've owned it , no breakdowns , clutch engages as it should

refurbished wheels with pilot sport 4 tyres that have done less than 1000 miles

looks, sounds and goes fantastic

after many weeks umming and arring I've decided life is too short to worry about money so a Quattroporte is where I want to be

for a quick sale I am open to a sensible offer

Good luck with the sale and for the incoming QP in the, hopefully not too distant future

I know the market dictates prices but given how well it has been cared for and what has been spent on your car, I think you have underpriced it. even high mileage 42s, if good like yours, should be 13 plus IMO. From looking at autotrader and pistonheads, 42s are looking the undervalued bargain Maserati......that cannot last.

I know what you mean Greg and if I wasn't looking at a particular car I'd price it higher but if getting a quick sale means I can change to a QP at the right money I'm OK with that

Had an offer on pistonheads but nowhere near enough

Just rang up for a PX price on the GTS , all I'm going to say is , looks like I'm keeping it

Criminal, isn't it?!

Not really. I understand from the dealer's POV, it's just a way of saying 'I don't want to do this' Look at Richard Grace, for example. There's no way he'd want my car in his stock, so he'd offer peanuts. I'm OK with that.

Horses for courses and all that
