sad 4200 face lift

Noticed this on the various websites.
It needs some work, as stated by the seller, but comes in a nice colour combination. Could be a good DIY fix for someone depending on inspection.

It is a lovely colour combination Pete.....good face lifts are well over 20k now so depending on what needs doing could be a good buy.

Hasnt got the facelift grill guys and no zennons but as you say a nice colour combination.

If I didn't still have my 944 I'd be on my way to Leicester I think, looks about perfect for me (if the description is accurate) service history, almost perfect colour combo, OK miles and I like a little bit of a project. No room for it at the moment though, so the plan remains next year.. :-(

Its got the same grill as my 04 MY too.
I thought the 05 had the slotted plastic grill ?

There are three face lift girlls.
Slotted - standard fit for 4200
Black mesh starndard on GS , and upgrade option on 4200
Chrome mesh option on GS, upgrade option on 4200 and Vintage edition.

It's my eyes, mine has the slotted grill, this has what looks like a GS grill.

MOT history is quite good.
the usual issues with the hand brake in the past
some dodgy wipers previously
a worn front wishbone a couple of years ago as an advisory but not since (replaced?)

I like this a lot & looks like a great buy if it doesn't need much. Buy for £12.5-13k spend £2k on service & bit of work and you have a decent facelift for £15k or less.

Doesn't say anything of previous ownership or service history so guessing this won't be a positive as it would have been mentioned. Priced well for for seemingly honest & quick sale though.
