Not sure if this should be on the low loader thread or not...

I think this one was a big one...

Date tested 27 March 2018
Pass
MOT test number 3992 7572 6484

Advisory notice item(s)
Steering system has slight free play detected at steering wheel (2.2.A.1a)

Hopefully the tester didn't tell him it'll OK until the next test

I bought a back window for my 4200 for £80 from a scrapyard , when I went to collect it I was hoping for a shelf full of mint parts at bargain prices but the guy just laughed

he said there wasn't much left of the car , he'd come tanking up to a tight RH bend with one of those 2ft kerbs with a lip to keep you on the road only he was going that fast it acted as a launch ramp , he said it cleared a 6ft hedge , first impact mark on the field was about 10-15m in then it rolled , a lot , no straight panels and the only bit of glass that survived was my back window, that guy wasn't even trying

Nice morning out there but not sure the XJ will be the best car to take today! Might leave it to the old duffer today

Might be the dullest picture of the day but I’ve been waiting since the start of December for these, no wonder Italy is in recession, they’re all on bloody holiday. I can now get it back on the road.

My bike was delayed by a month because they were all on holiday and that was for the whole of August. I might move to Italy.

Similarly, an Italian company that my group acquired used to, literally, lock the gates (with a big old wrought iron key as if from a Scooby-Doo episode) of the factory on 1 August, send everyone home, and then re-open them on 1 September.

Living here in France I like some of these European ways especially Lunch 12.00 to 14.00 after many years of eating on the hoof.

That's what Maserati do, isn't it?

That’s what I was told. The factory was on holiday from the 2nd week in December to the 2nd week in January. Ok I can understand it for a car plant but they closed everything even the parts department so if something went wrong with your 3 month old Levante in December, hard luck.
