Thought I’d post this today. Fortunately we aren’t affected.
There are some extraordinarily brave people out there risking their lives for others in what’s been discribed as a “Catastrophic” situation.62079

They are Wattie.

Meanwhile in the UK, the survivors/families of the Grenville disaster are suing the London Fire brigade. Bet those poor firemen who risk their lives to save others are wondering why they bother and rightly so.

Would love to be able to recreate that pic at home, but alas ............ it won’t quite be the same and the cars will be different as well !

Meanwhile, in Oxford, just beyond our carpark work has been progressing apace to increase Oxford's commuter capacity. The Seacourt Moore & Ride will allow commuters with narrow boats, punts and small leisure boats to have access to the Park & Ride bus service into town.

As much as that is quite a smart uniform, at my first Preparatory we wore bow ties every day.

(Which now seems a little unnecessary, looking back.)

And no, I’m not posting a photo!

Was that a personal choice, or do you date back to the Victorian era, Ewan?

Choice of the Master and Governors. At the age of five I don’t recall having much say in the matter. 1970’s - different times!
