Wishbones and a number of other things could lurk...that's why they want to shift it on.

£8000 or offer , really got to be some thing wrong with it or iam going to shoot my self , that's got to be a 12 k plus if all good , doesn't add up even for a dealer trade in , something fishy me thinks

No mate not one for me this. I managed to dodge a bullet on the last one and I'm done buying blind. Without plugging in an OBD or SD2 and having a specialist look over it it really is Russian roulette with these cars. It's had 5 owners, lots of money spent on it and Partial History with Maserati, car was based in Newcastle for the last 5 years and it needs a new door speaker, handbrake cable sorting and an oil pressure sender/gauge (assuming that the engine hasn't lost all oil pressure!!!).

Your not suggesting the sump might be full of water are you Phil!

He'd probably regard wanting to put it through a test as messing him about let alone getting it inspected

At that price though, someone will no doubt take a punt as you're unlikely to lose much if you end up selling it on
