Sold at full asking price to a very nice person.

Very sorry to see my car go. It looked and sounded great!

For me the 4200 is one, if not the most, beautiful car ever made and in its original version like mine an instant classic. A classic that can be used every day in comfort and will put a smile on your face every time you drive it. I have loved this car for five years now and I personally know all the previous "careful" owner of this car from new. It has survived the arrival of my first child and let's see if it will survive the arrival of the second....
I really love this car but it is sad I cannot use it as much as I would due to work commitments and I would only be happy to sell to another enthusiast that can appreciate it.
My car does not require any maintenance at all for some time and has proved very reliable which has been a pleasant surprise.
At current prices the 4200 CC are fantastic value for money and I cannot find anything even comparable. Being an earlier car mine pays a reduced tax disc of 290, lower than the cars from 2006 that pay 505. I would not be surprised to see prices going up a bit in the near future.
With petrol prices under 1£ and to stay there for some time consumption should not be a big worry either.

Immaculate car, full service history, in my nearly 5 years of ownership has proved to be 100% reliable. Came to see my car and you will be able to appreciate the perfect condition of my vehicle.

Good luck with the sale Francesco, do I remember seeing you on a car programme looking for a family car and the 4200 was in the background?

Nice looking car.
Advert reads suggesting it hasn't had a service in last 5 years? Is this just what is stamped in the book but there are other services?
Just looking at the ad from a prospective buyers viewpoint. Might be worth clarifying as I suspect it will be the first question you will be asked.

Very close to tempting me away from my 3200! have I seen this advertised on and off for a couple of years?

Are you mad, this looks really nice - but I remember you just bought a Merc, so mad is probably pretty accurate ;)

The Merc is a work car. And is black!

So I want a different colour. Having looked at a few Masers now, I think I'm getting fussier! :saifi2:

Yes you have with the same original pictures too from when it was sold by Nuvola.

In fairness, it appears it has only done 4K miles in the last five years so I am sure it looks the same, in fact you stated the mileage as 44K over a year ago, so it looks like you haven't used her at all in the last year!
If it was me, a fresh set of photo's would be a good idea, with you trying to sell a few times over the past couple of years, with the same photo's, same mileage in photo (when you bought her I assume) hence everyone remembers!
