Yes, the cam has prob done terminal damage but still looks plenty of parts available......

Cam belt snapped 1k miles I'd be asking questions to the garage that fitted.

I think it was mentioned on another post.
The guy changed it himself.

For the current price I would buy it and try to put it back on the road with a pair of used heads.

Think he changed it himself so it did not turn out to be the cost saving He had hoped for I fear

Think given the engine rebuild and fixing rust (at least) I reckon phil's 3k was a fair top price IMO

3k is a good shout but I seriously doubt that its going to see the road again. Its value is parts.
