My old QPV for sale !

After 18 months of ownership my beautiful 2005 QPV is now up for sale here

http://www.bancousedcars.co.uk/used...e/v8-4dr-duoselect/seaview/hampshire/16625618

I part ex'd it against a Merc (I know, I know) but thought I'd put a link up for anyone looking for a fully sorted QPV in what I think are the best colours.

It really didn't want for anything under my ownership and benefitted from new tyres, rear discs and pads all round, pretty much every front suspension bush replaced, new a/c compressor, new clutch and clutch position sensor, ABS ecu rebuild (now with a lifetime warranty) and of course was lovingly cared for by me ! Service history is full and mainly main dealer with recent specialist. Service is due in approx. 8,000 miles according to the on board system. It was my 3rd Maserati, but I now need something more work friendly due to the miles I'm doing.

I have nothing to gain by putting up this link except to hope that it goes to a good home and that it really was in top condition when sold. Some people sell cars due to them having problems. I do quite the opposite and ensure my cars are in tip top condition.

This is a thread showing some better shots than on the sale website http://www.sportsmaserati.com/showthread.php/14435-Gratuitous-QP-photo-!?highlight=gratuitous although it doesn't have the 20" Sport GT wheels in these pics that now adorn it.

Also worth pointing out that this isn't a normal QPV, it has the Sport Pack option from the factory, which was a £3k upgrade.

The chaps at Banco Fleet (Jon & Andrew) are really really good to deal with so if you're in the market for a QP this should be at the top of your list.

(They also do fleet & contract hire btw)

Looks great, but then again I am a sucker for a dark blue Maser!

I'm still surprised my old black one, now for sale from Pau1, has not been snapped up. Is it because us lazy Englishmen can't be bothered to go to Aberdeen to get it?! He had an epic drive drive back home when he collected it from me in Dorset last year.

Great endorsement Jonny...Must say looked at this advert when it came up and didn't like the look of the dealer site and thought they may not know what they had...shows that you shouldn't always judge a book from its cover from what you have said. Lovely looking QP.

Hi Andy - they do know what they have now ! They're more fleet and contract but do have a side line in used cars. The Merc CL500 I've got from them is perfect, I've had it inspected both by Warranty Direct and my local Merc indy and they've pronounced it spot on.

Which is nice, as I travelled 260 miles to get it. They're also just up the road from Lyndhurst...

Your old car looks lovely and Jonny...bet it was hard to let it go especially after it had been so reliable. Sounds like a good one.

Yes, it really does seem a buyers market for them right now. The choice is good and the prices are very reasonable too

I can easily deliver for a fee, I have no problems driving that car all day. ;) We do have motorways up here you know guys.

Nothing wrong with travelling to Aberdeen to buy stuff. We flew up there to view the roadblocker before buying but it was one **** of a journey to go and collect.
