Yep, my little buzz box of the late 80's!
Twin choke weber, turbo intercooled.
Factory figure was 85 BHP but had mine on a rolling road and it put out 99 BHP. On the same session, Ford Escort Turbo's where failing to make their factory 130 BHP.
Weighted nothing compared to today. Lot of fun when the boost came in!

Can't remember the GTi version. Had a standard one as a loan car once when my Integrale was in the garage...fun little car...but then all small Italian cars are fun as its what they do so well...

I've fond memories of mine.

Is the 1.3 the same Brazilian block as the 1050 turbo, just bored out?

Yes I believe it was.
My Y10 Fire before the Turbo I had, had surprisingly, the 'fire' engine 'fully integrated robotised engine'.
You would have thought they would have used this engine for the GTie, rather than the old brazilian.
