Visit to the Vulcan

Thought I would start a new thread on this to make it easier.

There seemed to be a bit of interest in a visit to Doncaster to see the plane itself so I've been on to the Vulcan to the Sky people. We can book to get exclusive access to the hanger with a tour provided that at least 20 people want to go. Link to the website is here http://www.vulcantothesky.org/

Weekends are available but they are only booking from November onwards at the moment until they see what the flying schedule is going to be in October. If there's enough interest we can do it then or wait until spring. No turning up in the day car if the weather's not nice!

There's a minimum charge of £140 for the group with prices of £12 per adult, £7.50 for 65+ and £4 per child.

Can you therefore add your name below and preferences for November or next year.

I will also look into hotels once we know what's happening.

Added +1, as just realised it's number of people you need to make 20, not cars.

Sorry should have made that clearer so if there's a +1 or more please confirm.

Interesting,I was at Silverstone yesterday , and we were informed that the Vulcan would overfly us at 2,35 on its way to Goodwood, it appeared at approx. 3.oo bang over the top of us , perfect sky what a wonderful sight ,long to be remembered .--apparently it is supposed to be the same today
