What an entertaining read that advert is! Shame the owner has had such a turbulent ownership experience, hopefully the problems can be sorted relatively easily by the new keeper.

Would love to help the owner just like I have helped a few on here and other forums. The ad is well written and very true as you really do need patience, information and a good friendly mechanic to make ownership more bearable with the 3200, let's face it, without these forums and the multitude and wealth of knowledge we share most of us simply wouldn't be able to run these amazing Cars.

Tempted to contact him and help with the CEL limp mode which let's face it most of us have had.

Is he actually saying that the well known 3200 specialist in Fareham (where this chap/car lives) is no good? Or that the car is so bad, even that specialist can't fix it?

Or is he taking it to Kwik-Fit and being genuinely surprised they can't fix it?

If it was running properly, it might indeed be worth the asking price. But as it is, no chance.

Sounds like it! Mike R have you had a look at this car?

Communication problem between the electronic components? There must be a sd2/3 code or something to go on!

The guy was definatly waffling on a bit in the ad.......These lovely classic 3200 GT's are now fifteen year old and complete with probmatic first generation can bus technology...

What did he expect an Audi R8!

Infact in a couple of years time they'll be worth more than a poxy Audi!

That is a very honest add.....hats off to him....PHil, sounds like even if you give him some advice he still is going toi sell as he has fallen out of love with the car.

Interesting that it had a new wishbone too. Cracked, I wonder? It may have had a new TB, but I'd still be looking at that again. Shame be cause it looks like a nice car other than the issues.
