He does them (he sorted my spacers for me) but I imagine that prices work out about the same. The advantage is that Noor gives great advice, doesn't only sell FD and handles all the buggering about with import duties and shipping. The only reason I had to pay import duty on mine is because Noor arranged for them to be sent direct to save time.

Will try and get some today, Ryan. I'll post some some of when it's dropped a wee bit as well, hopefully next week.

Ah right.......I do like the FD bits......Even the wheels look good.

Agreed, Andy, the FD wheels are tremendous. I did think for a while about replacing with those but decided in the end that my standard Neptunes look pretty good already.

The FD logo on the edge of the spacers is a nice touch, and the overall quality of finish is tremendous. Even the packaging was very nicely done. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to get more FD stuff. Chances are when my disks finally need replacing it'll be a set of FD drop-ins which I'll use (not the full FD brake kit with bigger callipers, braided lines and so on, though).

One long(er) shot:

Also worth mentioning the handling, which seems quite different, in a good way. It feels more planted and I'm sure turn-in is a bit sharper, but in no way detrimental to easy and relaxed driving. It's good, I like it.

Good work, mate! That looks enormously better - I've always thought the GTs look under-wheeled due to the size of the arches. The slightly wider track makes the car appear lower (everyone always thinks that I've lowered my GS), so your lowering next week should make it look even better. Can't wait to see the results of all of your planned mods!

Thanks MAF. It's a strange illusion but it does look generally smaller as well as lower. Less like it's standing on tiptoes, to quote BennyD. I like it. Roll on next week and the next phase of the minor mod manifesto!

Would the Qp bebefit as much? Ive not seen any gd examples of qps on spacers.

Any pics are welcome, cheers

Have a lot on the Formula Dynamic website. The 15mm spacers they sell for the QP look pretty good. http://www.formuladynamics.com/products/qp_wheelspacers/qp_wheelspacers.php. Also worth a search on Google images.

Well done Adam, it looks very good.

Of course, I've just bought a new set of locking wheel nuts and now I'm tempted to go for spacers ... must think ahead in the future ...
Look forward to checking it out in the flesh once your springs are on too, good work!

Morning MB. I'm leaning towards satin gunmetal. Definitely satin something. They look better mucky. Not sure if gunmetal would be too dark on my colour. Thoughts?

Gunmetal isn't that dark Adam...Anthracite is darker...Or it is from the wheel specialist...Gunmetal is at the top...

I had anthracite on my GTV and they are a lot darker than the gunmetal.....

They look a very nice contrast to the silver Andy, lovely looking car that too - timeless for me

They'd be very close to the body colour of yours then Adam?

A few shades darker, I reckon Stuart. What with the chrome trim I need to be careful I don't end up doing a fifty shades of Grigio thing.

Andy, I *think* these may come up a bit between the gunmetal and anthracite. The contrast between my body colour and the wheels will be less than on your (gorgeous) GTV. It should work out ok but it's not cheap and I don't want to end up wishing I'd gone lighter. My wheels at the moment are about the same as the body colour. Ideally I'll be conspicuously darker than that. Too close it'll look like I aimed for the same colour and missed, too dark and it'll look like I wasn't brave enough to go black. Or am I over-thinking this..?

Certainly go with the darker option as you want to have a level of contrast with the body colour; satin finish would be great.
