Nice find George. Thanks for posting.

Having driven and owned many German cars, I tend to agree with Wester.

Saying that, tech. and performance wise however, they were always more or less way ahead of the curve.

As for the starting price of the Alfieri in Australia?

Safe bet it will be around the $A300,000 mark with the top spec above $350,000.

Why 4x4 in such a small car??? Won't that add to the weight that little engine will need to contend with?

Market wants it (911, R8, F type etc) plus 4WD is getting lighter.

What's interesting is how they get the £20k price gap to the GranTurismo - the latter starts at £82k today but what will the replacement start at?

Because a 500bhp 4x4 will be a great drive when the weather is inclement, rather than just when it's bone dry.
