Morning all, a much easier commute for you Chris well done, agree Adam I have turned off notifications and have weaned myself off Facebook since the Spanish trip, all in an attempt to try and focus office time to being more productive. The reality is probably not working.

Off to Streatham in a bit and then onto Horsham.

Have fun all...

Morning all,

MASH was fabulous for lunch yesterday, and I’m now a fan of Danish and Uruguayan beef... Am also still very much a fan of Napa Valley Cab Sauvignon!

My head is feeling pretty fuzzy though, and today is the work’s Christmas party... Will be a case of hair of the dog I think!

Happy Thursday all,

Morning all. Late start in the office today for me.

Got the Maser out of the garage to wash the salt off of it from Monday.
Figured as it was a nice day I'd take her to work via picking up the last of Alex's presents. Christmas shopping is now complete.

On the way into the office I thought I'd pop into Simon Furlongers to have a look at what cars they have at the moment. And they have some beauties.
I've provisionally placed an order for the F40, the EB110 and an FF. Obviously that is dependant on my lottery numbers coming up on Friday night.

They do have some lovely cars in at the mo though.

Here is a selection...

Morning all. Half day today as I thought I'd take Alex and Joseph out for lunch.

Other than that not much happening today. Saving myself for an all day Christmas Jumper booze up tomorrow!

Morning, its Friday so a day of boring work then a beasting at Boxing tonight then a fairly lazy weekend, which is nice.

I do have an update on the Brera starting issues. Its been about 2 months of problems solving and finally it looks like we have a resolve.

The muppet garage who replaced the injectors and pump put the injectors in the the wrong way round.

Each injector is coded and is paired to each of the 5 cylinders. This coding tells the ECU the characteristics of that individual injector so it can be trimmed.

The garage took them out left to right, had them reconditioned by Bosch and put them back in right to left meaning only number 3 was in its correct location.

Over to Mikes to get the ECU recoded so the engine will now be able to manage itself correctly.

This explains why when warm it would not start and why I was getting loads of white vapour our the back where the engine was over fuelling.

Fools!

I hope that was not at an Alfa garage. Sounds like a proper schoolboy error!

The injectors were only the half of it. They had the head off and timing belt too. 2 water pipes leaking, turbo not done up at the front, one nut finger tight so boost leak, at the other side of the turbo, they forgot to put the gasket back in so oil pissing out, so called service, the air filter was years old, oil black and filter gritty.

No, not an Alfa garage, it was a company called Forza in South Wales. The bill for the above ran to thousands.

So a warning for us all, use a specialist who knows these cars and not some general service centre.

Sound like they learned their garage skills from Stevie Wonder!

Sounds a nightmare, probably one 'specialist' and 4 blokes who don't have a clue but will give it a go. Hope it's sorted now.

Here's a festive aston round the corner from me

Probably upside down or on its side...
