Finally got my budget sorted out. Got about £25k to play with. Looking for a GS. Will consider any colour apart from Grigio Touring but looking for a Nuvolari, Alfieri or any of the blues in particular. Must have xenons. Can compromise with techno cloth interior and lack of heated seats.

Have got a couple of options I'm looking into but just wanted to reach out to the forum, in case anyone was considering selling theirs!

Cheers guys

Kupe, I know Mark (MAF260) is going to have a GS come up soon for sale. It is Nero though so not on your colour list.

Lots of GS owners on here and for your budget a good example will be had IMO. Good luck with the search, anticipation is half the fun!

I had a 3200 Dem and I always wanted to move up to a GS...Think it's a natural progression.....and it's the best of the genre.....

PM Mark, apart from that what made you go from a 3200 to a GS?

Long story short, my original budget was £20k. No GS's that I liked the look of at that price point. Got it into my head that a 3200 AC would suffice in the interim. Was always nervous about the reliability of the 3200 and the increased likelihood of a big repair bill. My uneducated opinion of course, hence why I asked Phil and Dem of their experience. That the 3200 AC was likely to at least hold it's value, or maybe even increase, balanced this 'big repair bill' risk. Anyway, had a good week at work and was able to add £5k to the war chest. Always wanted a GS so resumed search again. Haven't discounted the AC but preference is for the GS. I'm at that point where I am desperate to get my *** into a Maserati!!

Good luck, if you want any hints or advice then I've owned a 3200GT and also two GranSports. Just PM me.

Would suggest you go private and save 2-3K on dealer/specialist costs. You can get a good check on a private car done for a fraction of that, for peace of mind. 3rd party warranties don't give me peace of mind!

Entirely personal preference, though. I'm just tight with money. :)

Read an article that the prices of the GS are going to start dropping rapidly soon......this is the right time to sell your GS to me!

Mr. Coop, you can consider a well sorted AC, a 4200 Facelift and maybe a GS for the sort of money you are talking about. The 4200 Facelift is the closest to the GS spec, not quite the same but close. The AC is in a league of it's own really if it has been looked after and getting rarer as time goes on. No Maserati is a common car by a long way, they are all rare beasts on most roads. Pick the best you can, don't be shy at asking a member for help making your mind up and try to get an independent inspection done on any car you are serious about, it could save you a packet.. Best of Luck..!!

I got my GS from adg last August great people to deal with and even sorted out a fue niggles on the car when they arose. The car they have up now has tech cloth that don't do it for me. But it has low miles. Great cars lots of admiring looks go on jump in.

You never know but i would be surprised if they do. Prices have been rock solid for a few years now and they are already cheap in comparison to many competitors. Good examples will always fetch good money i feel.
