So I have been having a bit of a nightmare with a body shop who I asked to repair all 4 inner arches due to stone chips. The short version of the story is that is went back 3 times to correct the clear coat imperfections across the car. This is what they left me with so I decided not to go back:

Scratches everywhere!

Anyway to the good news, it's currently going through a paint correction and detail. You can see the story on this Facebook page of the detailer: https://www.facebook.com/OffsetDetailing

That's starting to look more like it! Sorry to hear of your earlier woes but by the looks of things the end result will be terrific. In time for Brooklands as well

those first pictures are horrible to look at - makes me wince!
Agreed, if it was me I'd be going to Trading standards cos those guys clearly don't know how to treat paint.

Looks fine now tho.
Cheers Wattie

So where was the paint done so members can avoid?

I will do in time but it's very complicated at the moment. I went through a trusted garage and never met the painter. Lesson learned for me, as it was a small job I thought "what could go wrong?".

As Mike said, what a transformation. Very nice. I'll be feeling decidedly under-buffed on Saturday.

(Daryl... welcome, by the way.. and well done on a great job)

Great transformation, the car looks fantastic now. Shocking that a body shop would hand a car back to a customer in that state!
