looks ok with certain colours...On a black car with black leather don't mind it as it adds a slash of colour.

Price is spot on for an early tech cloth car with 43000 miles, prices still haven't budged for 7 years now.

So the blue 2006 47k @£24 is about right..

I have said it looks fair before, all depends on how good a car it is. It would be £26-27k at a reputable dealer with a clear inspection and warranty included.

Better investment than oil or the euro then Dicky!!!!

P

Oil, currency etc don't require servicing, taxing, insuring and garaging so probably not! As far as a proven track record for holding their value, a sure enough bet though. Some things have leapt in price over that period, such as air-cooled Porsches and Ferraris and classics etc

...true but.............who truly "enjoys" the money theyve invested in oil or currencies??!!

And not forgetting the fact you probably spend more time cleaning and polishing and fettling than driving!
Saying that- if I could get anywhere near my hourly rate for detailing cars I would love to do that, need to retrain first t.hough!

Different GS safrane, the one you allude to is owned now by Stefano who is active on occasion on here. Our latest GS had been owned for the last 5 years and 5000 miles by a lovely chap in Lincs who's just relocated to Wales. Pictures live by mid week!. With reference to what Dicky Grace has written on this thread it's an unequivocal fact that good GS's have held their money for several years now and, if I were a betting man, I'd suggest that the pristine examples will continue to do so and will in fact appreciate in value (As 3200's and late 4200's are doing). IMHO!, Alistair ADG

Here's to that Alistair... at that price it should fly off the forecourt.

Bizarrely we tend to accrue GS's at this time of the year then famine for the next 9 months or so!. This one is very nice and is certainly at a desirable price point so we'll see how long before it's found by it's next steward!. We should hopefully have a Red with Avorio available in the next week or so...

I agree with you point on price Alistair.....It is very attractive....When you look at what else is for sale and you being a respectable specialist it is priced very well....WOuld imagine you will have no problem shifting it.

Red and cream....Sounds lovely.
