Wonder what colour interior is tho - exterior my favourite colour!!

Read it properly - black interior - blue piping..

Prices seem to be on the slide a little, that would have been up at 5k more this time last year.

Black interior. Called the seller a couple of days ago, somewhat sketchy service history (ad describes it as main dealer independent) where car was serviced at local non-specialist garages. Couldn't ascertain exactly how many. Last service at Giallo though, who confirmed knowledge of car and said it is a 'good' car. I usually like to hear the words 'immaculate' or 'great'. The decats put me off a little, as I don't really want a loud car...

Sorely Tempted - but not really in a position to make a move until March (ish).

May know / feel a bit more secure in my employment (oil & gas) then, and I could not see me getting much use between now and then!

Yes there are a couple of lower prices GS out there...but it is that time of year and the major players tend to keep their stock for a little longer but get their prices

Most of the 29/30k plus cars have been around for a while though Pete...but then I suppose they are not fast sellers.

Does look like it has been looked after from 2009 onwards, what do you "experts" think?

Crikey that's a lot of work, must live around **** roads, or something, that's unless someone has been having a laugh at someone elses expense..??

The vehicle is located in the west midlands - Stourbridge,
I have asked for some internal photos and the location of the original exhaust system. The company they bought it from did not have the history up until 2009.
The seller is going to try Maserati to see if she can fill in the blanks.

Is it a worry that so much has been done or could it be down to a fastidious owner.(Or as Rob hints at there expense) I am not sure or know of Giallo's reputation but it does seem odd that it would sometimes go in 2 weeks after being in for more work.

When I spoke with him, he said that he had FULL history. From what you say above, it explains why his daughter never called me back re the service history!

The amount of work done on it since 2009 is worrying (or comforting?!)....makes me wonder if I would be faced with similar maintenance each year. Scary thought. I had a little laugh at the number of times they had to change the airbag warning light...

Anyway...

Mr Coop - I am leaning in your direction if I am honest - I will try to follow it through though so the information is there should anyone else want / need it.

Shame as its in my preferred colour and budget range - tho I could really do with waiting until Mar / April time(ish).

Beginning th think I should just box clever and go with a Jag XKR (Better go wash my mouth out)

That car is very near me, surprised i haven't seen it around at some point.

Wonder if the rest of the service history will show up? It is a fairly important selling point so i would have expected the seller to have chased it up as far as possible already.

Hi Jayblue- I agree regarding the service history - I am amazed that they bought it without knowing the previous history etc - Not totally sure on all the details but when I asked the seller about exhaust etc, she said she would have to speak to ex-husband to see if he kept the originals so it does look like its going to be hard to stitch history etc together - maybe just an independent inspection and report!!

Post 11 states "The company they bought it from did not have the history up until 2009". I would be surprised if that company was ADG as I can't see them offering a £30k GS (in 2011) with a patchy history, so has it been through another dealer since then?

Giallo are next door to ADG.

Well done Phil - true detective - also on the motoseller add it states 3 owners - new seller add on pistonheads says 5 so looks like you say, been through another dealer.

Dealer won't appear as an owner on it though.

Worth a call to ADG to see if they remember anything about it........and where it went etc...As a support of the site I'm sure they will help.

I do not think the list is that big to be honest. My first 4200 had £28,000 of remedial work over eight years including three clutches, a gear box, power steering cooler, and 11 services...I would expect to see a list far longer than that as many of the items listed down are just consumables.
