Hi to all, I'm from Italy and just made a presentation on the 'newbie' section.
I recently bought a 2nd hand GTS Sport Auto and I really love it. It has very few km. and looks like new!
I have a couple of questions and may be somebody here could help me:
- brakes: braking force is ok, but pedal response is a little bit 'spongy' and excursion is quite long: is that normal on this model?
- whining noise at idle: I hear a whining noise coming from the area just below the intake manifold, close to the alternator. It starts whining only when the engine gets warm and just at idle. As soon as I press the accelerator to raise rpms it disappears, and starts again when idling. Could be the alternator, but why just at idle? Any experience?
Above this the car is fantastic, I did 3000km. in 3 weeks and I'm in love with her! Stunning beautiful, plenty of power, really comfortable, great suspensions and incredible sound! Can't ask any better...
