Looks in decent nick for a 2000 and 52K miles is nothing, auto too so no clutch..!! RH exhaust bank is showing different colours but this may just be the photo, woth a look for somebody..!!

It's the historical stigma, get rid of that and they will up near the £20K mark..!! If looked after properly they all want snapping up at that sort of price..!!

I know, make me wonder when people will realise just how much car you get in all of the coupe range really. Can any other car offer so much diver and owner satisfactions as this range of Maser's?

It's a bit daft, but if they were such as forum member owned cars they would be good and reliable and only sold on to people who knew what they were getting at a realistic price..!! All the other rubbish will eventually be gone by the way side unfortunately for the cars involved, but then the situation may become realistic..!!

Yep once all the dogs are scrapped and gone it will make the ones which are loved and cherished go up in value.

In a way I think these cars are a bit too special to buy on Ebay, should be forum sold or dealer/specialist sold imo.

I agree, the eBay cars are the ones that people don't really know what they have, can't really afford them and don't know who can service them to get the best out of what they have..!! Although saying that some members have sold on eBay and some have bought from eBay, it just depends on the car I suppose and the seller..!!

Perhaps, but once over a certain age and below a certain value, all modes are used to attempt to sell

That's the problem, the perceived value of a used Maserati, they have managed to get a name that has been created by badly maintained cars being sold cheap and being bought by people who carry on the poor maintenance due to costs..!!

re value - I know it is short sighted maybe but personally I don't give two hoots if marci's value goes up, down or stays the same, I bought her to keep and in a year or two she will hopefully have a stable mate to share the mileage burdon with................so I can have an avatar like robert's:numberone:
