Can't remember how many to having been in the trade all my life.
Some owned for less than a day.
My first car was a Austin Healey Sprite bought at 13 with my twin brother and at 17 was in 420 Jag on chrome wires back in 79.
Good times.

Too many to list but the one's I'd like to see again would be...............

My first car - A white over blue 997cc Ford Anglia 105E - COO 513 - if she still exists I'd have her back in a heartbeat. Last time I saw her she was having a 3.5 litre V8 Rover engine dropped in!

My second car - A Daytona yellow Mk1 'facelift' Ford Capri 3000GXL - Don't mock! This one was a bit special and saw off many Mk2's, 3's and even a 3100 with ease

More recently - A Jaguar XJR, fully loaded. Takes a lot of power to move that much car that quick and was always a hugely impressive big saloon. Loved the car but dreadful dealerships made me sell.

But.............my latest - GTS - is the only car I've ever had where I cannot wipe the smile off my face even hours later.

Also meant to mention that I went to an RM auction a few years ago in London where they were selling off a lot of the Bernie Ecclestone collection. I saw an almost identical, but 1200 De-Luxe spec, Anglia in concourse condition with a genuine 14,000 miles on the clock documented - it went for silly money (£4,000 if I recall). I have kicked myself every day since for not snapping that up. :frusty5:

993 turbos are the best cars i've owned. The prices are now crazy with decent ones starting at 80k ! I frequently remind the wife that I sold the last one for £36.5k and it would now be close to 100k. All because she wanted a new house. (Ok, so I did too!).

If my numbers come in, it's the first thing I will buy.

I nearly bought a 959 for £85k about 10 years ago too but she talked me out of that too.

Do I take it you've never, ever worn trousers of any kind in this relationship Outrun??!!

Good to see Anglia prices are on the up, now that Escorts seem to be out of touch for most people, at least to justify buying.

My wife is from Belfast, you should know that I'm lucky that I am allowed to own trousers at all. I learned after all the cars and the various gains and losses that she will go equally mental if I buy a £500 shed or a £75000 MCStradale so I live now by the motto "If you're gonna do the time, you might as well do the crime". No point buying a 4200 over a GS with the idea that she will see that sort of decision as a concession.

S&*T, should have bought an MCV....
