Hum, explains why Alfa, Maserati and Ferrari are now independent companies.

I don't really care what happens to Fiat.

To back up the above, Mr M did say that Alfa will only ever be built in Italy, and hence why the Maserati factory in Modern is undertaking Alfa special models and the Ghibli and QP have been shipped out to another Italian plant.

The only question that leaves me with is what will happen to the run of the mill Alfas, either they will be built in Italy or culled for hand built models only???

I suspect the Mito and Guilietta will continue where they are and the 159 replacement will be built alongside the Ghibli as it will share its underpinings.

From Turin to Slough?
Incorporated under Dutch law, based in the U.K. list on the NYSE. So do we get the Corporation tax? Or can we claim Fiat as another British car company?

Alfa had a presence in Slough previously, can't see where they are going with this other than the normal avoidance programmes all corporates run nowadays
