From time to time these come up on Ebay but I have managed to source 8 of them. They retail at 7.50 each but I can offer them at £7 with shipping each or two for £12.

Indeed, the very early 4200's shared the same key as the 3200 so if your 4200 has the red key (meta system) then these will be valid on that. Thanks for reminding me C.

Not sure the red key was ever issued on the 4200. I have the black key, and no red. Nor do I need one to add extras. SD2/3 only.

You are right, no red key on the 4200 and they were programmable via the ECU...

Ok Trev. That's two left... Come on surely all owners have the same annoying flat buttons that you have to dig your thumbnail into to activate the central locking?

Ok so fitted one this morning. Makes so much difference.

condition of old rubber button.

Key open with new button ready.

New button in place.

Finished.

Old Vs New

One thing I found is that even with the new button in place it doesn't always click the switch inside so make sure the PCB is properly in position and doesn't move around. If it does move wedge some paper or card at the other end so that the button is very close to the switch.
