I remember it well, and always loved the Piper design.

The Mas is reminiscent of the Ferrari Breadvan too, and would make an interesting project.

agree. front pretty much classic mas but the back end.........really, what were they thinking? worst is at some point a designer stood back from the board and thought "yup, that's the look I'm after all right........."

Must have been "designed" by an early adopter of LSD...great things happened at the front then by the time the back came he'd forgotten what he was doing and was devoting his attention to the path taken by an imaginary butterfly across the newly-formed meadow that was his studio...

Typical Italian,,Start at the front with lots of gusto and then got bored by the time they got to the back and went out for some wine for the rest of the day........ ;-)
