I have a major problem lads that might stop me from making Bristol tomorrow.

Got in the car this morning and the Gear indicator said N for neutral but the car drove fine.

Did a battery reset and now the whole dash is out, Sport wont engage, Auto will, all the gauges are stuck on a third, car drives fine though, no rev or speedo, battery does seem to register, fuses?

Feel for you Matt.
Disconnect the battery and get it out of its place.
Hold the positive to the negative lead and count to ten.
This will discharge everything then leave batt off for a good hour then refix.
As our leader you are needed to be in Bristol for a important weekend mate.

Vaguely similar to what just happened my Alfa and it turned out to be the alternator. Good luck with sorting it.

do you have a obd reader, maybe an error in the car may help point in the right direction ?

As I first suspected it is a failed Bridge Cann unit.

The car still drives, no SPORT, fuel gauge, speedo, rev counter, start up lights or oil pressure gauge.

Ill be there, just off to find out how much this one costs.

I think its been failing since I had this car and the route of all my issues.
