Yeah shameless plug from a long time lurker.

:blushed:

That's fine as it could be a benefit to a member if looking for a car scotty...We are not like other forums where you have to post 20 million times to advertise something that other members may want.....Shame you didn't come over before...

Your car looks lovely by the way but then told you that over on Cutters......I was just about to post a link but you beat me to it.......Have you seen the comment from one chap.....These cars are under wheeled...!!!!!!....Now that's something I've not heard directed at a car on 20inch wheels...

Good luck with the sale Scotty....

At the end of the day we want Maseratis going to good homes so no issue with only one post.

Bit of advice to the vendor:
-the car is only four months away from the big four year service. That's £2.5k+;
-it does not appear to be being offered with a warranty. Two year one which is offered in the advert as an extra is £2-3k; and
-If the photo resolution is correct, the colour of the leather looks like Cuoio Sella instead of Cuoio (which I have). It was deleted not long after that car was built and is quite a bit powerful than Cuoio.

Shame we have not met as I think I recognise where your bridge photos were taken.

Best of luck with the sale.

I must be in a minority then...that a community can only grow and flourish if members contribute to and support its development , not just drop in and use it for their own end.

But each to its own

Thanks Andy, thought it might be useful for a potential owner to ask the current owner any questions. I think it gives confidence that you know a car has been looked after properly and not been abused. Of course nobody will be able to tell that from my lack of previous activity but like I said, I am more than happy to answer any questions.

Cheers Wattie however I'm the opposite (no surprise really) having looked at a couple of cars with red leather before I settled on this one. I looked at the one Richard Grace had last year (believe it was a members old car) that had red leather with black alcantara inserts and it was hideous and not in keeping with the whole Italian design, all in my opinion of course. The Cuoio on the other hand suits the car perfectly and every passenger I have had has commented on how nice it is. Suppose it needs to been seen in the flesh to be fully appreciated.

Bob, I have opted not to do the service as it leaves the new owner the option to either pay the Maserati TAX or go to a specialist. The car does not currently have warranty however it was given the all clear for warranty when it was MOT'd, again I leave this open for the new owner. I believe this car is the cheapest 60 plate on the market so reflects the above but as always there is room for movement. I would encourage anybody to go look at it as it really is in immaculate condition.

As for the leather, I have no idea whether it is the Cuoio Sella or not however the last owner said the first owner was very particular about the leather and mentioned that it could have been special order?? Is there any way I can confirm the correct colour?

The picture was taken in Dumfries if that helps, however I currently live in Aberdeen.

I understand where you are coming from however, like I said above, I am here to help answer questions for any potential owners.

Peter, I do understand what you mean and have thought this on a few occasions but then came to the conclusion that as long as its a benefit for members on here then its not an issue...But we did discuss at the AGM and decided to leave as it is mate....

Scott, thanks for the replies.....

I really must stop looking at the first picture as lts really is making me want you car and thinking maybe a bank robbery is on the cards.....Its really good to se a black car with Cuoio leather rather than the black or cream you see in most....Looks stunning.

Thanks Andy, the black and tan combo really is stunning.

It's a shame your E46 is not a '04 or newer as we could have done a deal because LSB is stunning :excellent:

Last week I sold a 10/10 and a 10/60, both black with Rosso and fully spec'd, the 10/60 fully carboned, both fully main dealer prepared, Trident Warranties, main dealer back up for a lot less than that..............!

Sorry to be ignorant but what is involved with a full main dealer prep?

And if my memory serves me right then both of these cars were high milers (around 30k)?

As I said there is room for movement.

I've had a few nice hols down Dumfries way. Can be a bit wet mind!

If you ring Maserati UK they should give you the spec on your car.

You maybe need to get the dealer to make it clear what sort of warranty is being offered as there has to be something.

My understanding is that a main dealer will probably paint the nose and skirts etc - the paint is soft on these cars - and perform the 4 year service prior to sale.

LSB seems to be the colour everyone wants at the moment...When it came out hardly anyone wanted it...

Is it only me that thinks it's a bit much that every Bowker post seems to be turning into an advert? If I've got it wrong then I apologise but it certainly seems to be the case more and more recently.
