E60 M5s are awesome bits of kit but as you say in full fat mode are really hardcore so much that you feel the kick in your back as well as the drive train as they change up. You also become very friendly with nearly every filling station as they have an enormous appetite for fuel.

Beat me...mine was 10.5! I don't do many miles though so not really a primary concern

Haha...that was the M5...no idea about the 4200 mpg....not looked and don't want to! I think I got even less with the SL55. £30k & I'll let you have the 4200! Leg pull
