I have the exact same one for a GS, its the best cover I have ever seen, but 400 sheets an rising for a used one, thats not steep, its F'in vertical!

I think it will pop up again in a little while from now.
I have seen sellers get mates to bid up items.
sometimes they manage to guess just below the highest bidder and sometimes they go too greedy and end up buying the item.
Perhaps this is a case of "friendly buying"?

Its called "shill" bidding.....happens all the time.......long before ebay came along... even so that price seems so wrong!!!
