I must say that I went for the first time last year and frankly quite disappointed if you're just going to see classic and exotic/sports cars etc, it sounds like a really large event but in truth not that many motors on display and quite sparse, good display of military vehicles though, defo wouldn't go again, just my opinion:argue1:

Been for the last 3 years always plenty to see and do, oh yes and there’s the four flat out runs down the runway. Can’t wait.

I'm not going to fully commit to attending however I might pop along this year as it is pretty local to me. I am usually busy that last summer bank holiday but I have kept it clear as it is the last weekend before my wedding... it could be a good distraction if I am not caught up with anything else last minute.

What day is everyone going to attend?

Should have read it properly, I was thinking of Wings and Wheels at Damyns aerodrome Upminster this weekend. It's a grass runway!!

:) I've just put a post on the wrong forum so we all do it! :)

Long term a lot of Dunsfold land has been bought by property developers so I'm expecting the usual NIMBY complaints about noise/danger etc. from the house buyers once they are in situ - irrespective of the 'you knew when you bought it' defence from the organisers.
I guess it will limit the air activity more than the cars but at the moment there is no decibel limit applied.

Sorry to put up a negative post but that's how modern life rolls - so lets enjoy this unique site and the spectacular event while it is here.
I believe it was 'safe for the next 10 years' when I last heard officially, but I think that was last year or even the year before.
